INVITATION FOR BID: CONSTRUCTION
Accepting bids from qualified firms for the construction of a new 2-story house in Richmond, Virginia. The work includes the construction of a new house of approx. 1944 sq. ft. of enclosed and covered living area. The new building will be constructed of load bearing concrete masonry walls and wood roof trusses. The exterior will be brick veneer with a fiberglass shingle roof. The work also includes necessary site work. Non-Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference: May 1, 2009 at 12:00 at the jobsite.
Bid Submission Deadline: All bids shall be delivered in a sealed envelope/container to the jobsite no later than 4:00 PM (local prevailing time) on October 1, 2009. Late electronic or faxed bids will not be accepted. It shall be the Bidder’s responsibility to ensure his/her bid has been received by the Owner on or before the deadline published above. Owner is not responsible for delays in the Postal service or other methods of delivery. Bids will be opened and read aloud at the jobsite following the bid submission deadline. The bid opening event is open to the public.
